About Serena
I have been giving instrumental and BTEC music lessons for 7 years, working with students aged 9 - 60!
- I trained as a classical cellist in Leeds Conservatoire (Use to be Leeds College of Music) in both BTEC and BA Honours degree.
- I have experience of 1-1 mentoring, where I work with students with various learning difficulties, to support them through their studies.
- I have training in Autism support

I approach each topic by including practical activities among the theoretical side. My pedagogy is based on the different learning styles, which I tailor to each group or individuals I teach.
Lessons provided are from total beginners to people of BA degree standard. I am very patient and open to altering my teaching style to suit the learners.
