About Kanika
Hi, I'm Kanika. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I love helping others discover their confidence, creativity and unique voice through music.
I am an experienced music educator currently teaching in Further Education, with a background in singing, songwriting, music production, performance, choir leadership and conducting. Over the years, I have worked with students of different ages, abilities and musical interests, helping them develop their skills while building confidence in themselves.
As a choir leader and conductor, I understand how to bring out the best in individuals while helping them work as part of a team. Whether you're looking to improve your singing, develop your musicianship, prepare for performances or work towards a qualification, I can provide personalised support to help you reach your goals.
My teaching style is warm, encouraging and student-centred. I believe music should be accessible, enjoyable and empowering, and I aim to create a positive learning environment where every student feels supported to grow and succeed

Music should be enjoyable, confidence-building and a space where you can be yourself. Whether you're singing for the first time, writing your own songs, exploring music production or preparing for exams, I'll meet you where you are and help you develop at your own pace.
I have experience teaching music in schools and colleges and have worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities and learning styles. My lessons are relaxed, supportive and tailored to your goals, because no two musicians are the same.
I can help with singing, songwriting, performance skills, music production, music theory and coursework support for GCSE, BTEC and UAL Music qualifications.
My aim is simple: to help you grow in confidence, develop your skills and enjoy making music.
