About Jamie
I am a bachelor's prepared nurse with 20+ years experience in healthcare. I have been in healthcare since I was 16 years old and became an RN at 24. I have a critical care background with a lot of my career being in the emergency department. At one point in my career I was a certified emergency nurse, ACLS and BLS instructor, and graduate nurse preceptor as part of a residency program. I have been teaching at the collegiate level for 4 years. I have taught many subjects including MedSurg, mother/baby, pharmacology, pathophysiology, NCLEX prep, and medical terminology. I consider myself an expert on this subject matter and am very passionate about contributing to the future of nursing by helping others be successful.
