My approach is simple — I meet every student exactly where they are. Before any session begins, I review your assignment brief, marking criteria, module learning outcomes, and any existing draft you have. This tells me precisely what you need and how best to help you, so no time is ever wasted.
I adapt completely to each student. Some need me to write alongside them and explain every decision as we go. I cover all of these — and I shift between them fluidly depending on what you need in that session.
My techniques and teaching methodology
I use a combination of live collaborative writing, line-by-line feedback, academic database training, referencing coaching, and critical thinking development. Over ten years of working with nursing and health students across all levels, I have developed a sharp eye for exactly what UK universities expect and what separates a good submission from an outstanding one.
