About Joey
I have 10 years of experience teaching piano and violin privately, teaching from beginner level to Grade 8 to students of all ages. I have my ABRSM Grade 8 in piano, violin and music theory. I have a BA (Hons) in Music and a Masters in Music Therapy, where I gained experience working with individuals with Autism, SEN and PMLD. I am passionate about helping anyone who is willing to learn and share the same passion for music as I do, whilst always thinking of different approaches to suit each student's needs.

Lessons are tailored to each individual, with lesson structures varying to suit their pace and goals, helping each student to learn in the way that works best for them. I can help students to work towards and take their ABRSM music exams, learn to read sheet music, and learn songs just for fun! Lesson lengths vary, ranging from 30-60 mins, depending on the student.
