About Julie
Music has always been an integral part of my life. I grew up in a musical household. My mom was a former violin professor, and from her guidance, I've won numerous awards from local, national, and international competitions. I also have experience teaching piano to students of all ages and guiding them through RCM exams.
A few things about me:
*Obtained the ARCT Diploma in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music (theory and history all completed)
*First Place Winner at the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition in New York City
*Gold Medalist Winner in the Chinese Golden Bell Music Competition national finals
*Awarded top 2 in national finals in the Canadian Music Competition
*Awarded as Bronze Winner in the Pacific Rim International Music Festival
*Awarded the Norah Mansell Music Scholarship, School of Music - Keyboard Division - Scholarship, and the Eileen R Gilley Soroptimist Scholarship in Music from UBC
