About Samanza
Hello! I'm Samanza, a London-based pianist currently studying on the Advanced Professional Diploma programme at the Royal Academy of Music on a full scholarship. Alongside an active career as a soloist and chamber musician, I enjoy sharing my love of music through teaching.
I began learning the piano at the age of seven, and music has been a constant source of curiosity and fulfilment ever since. Although my path into music included completing a degree in Chemical Sciences before pursuing piano professionally, it reinforced my belief that anyone can continue to grow as a musician with the right guidance and encouragement. It also showed me that experiences beyond music enrich our creativity and shape what we are able to express through performance.
I love teaching because every student is different. Seeing someone overcome a technical challenge, gain confidence, discover new ideas, or simply experience the joy of making music is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel challenged, inspired, and excited to learn.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual goals, interests and learning style. Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for ABRSM or Trinity exams, working towards auditions or competitions, or returning to the piano after a break, my lessons are designed to build confidence, technical security and musical understanding.
My teaching combines healthy piano technique with expressive music-making, helping students develop efficient practice habits, stylistic awareness and ease at the keyboard while avoiding unnecessary tension. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to explore, ask questions and enjoy making music.
I teach students of all ages and abilities, from young beginners to advanced pianists. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although shorter lessons are available for younger children.
I am currently studying on the Advanced Professional Diploma programme at the Royal Academy of Music, having previously completed First-Class Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I recently recorded selected repertoire for the official ABRSM Piano Exam Syllabus, giving me first-hand experience of the syllabus and a strong understanding of the exam repertoire and requirements.
Alongside teaching, I maintain an active career as a soloist and chamber musician, allowing me to bring current professional experience and fresh musical ideas into every lesson.
