About Willow
As an experienced piano tutor with 8 years of expertise, I specialize in classical repertoire and music theory. My passion for music began at a young age, and over the years, I have dedicated myself to mastering the piano and sharing my knowledge with others. I offer tailored lessons for school students, focusing on developing strong technique and fostering musical expression. My goal is to help each student reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love for music.
Outside of teaching, I have a variety of hobbies that enrich my life and inspire my teaching. One of my favorite activities is hiking, which allows me to connect with nature and find peace and tranquility. The beauty and serenity of the outdoors provide a wonderful counterbalance to the structured discipline of music practice. Hiking helps me clear my mind and return to the piano with renewed energy and creativity.
In addition to my love for nature, I am an avid reader and enjoy watching movies. I am particularly drawn to literature and films that explore different cultures and historical periods, as they broaden my perspective and deepen my appreciation for the arts. These interests influence my teaching style, as I often draw parallels between music and other forms of artistic expression. By incorporating elements from my hobbies into my lessons, I aim to make learning the piano a more engaging and enriching experience for my students.

As an experienced piano tutor with 8 years of expertise, I specialize in classical repertoire and music theory. My lessons are tailored specifically for school students, focusing on developing strong technical skills and fostering musical expression. I believe that a solid foundation in technique is essential for any pianist, so I emphasize proper hand positioning, finger strength, and dexterity from the very beginning.
In my lessons, I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. I incorporate a variety of teaching methods to keep students motivated and excited about their progress. From scales and exercises to exploring complex pieces, each lesson is designed to challenge students while also making learning enjoyable. Additionally, I incorporate music theory into my lessons to help students understand the structure and language of music, which enhances their overall musicianship.
