The J-Life Method: By breaking down songs into their constituent parts, and jamming on those parts until they really make sense, the learner gets real ownership of the music. In addition, a little discussion about the HISTORY of why the song is the way it is, who made and and under what circumstances, helps to imbue the music with a sense of direction
Having tutored jazz enthusiasts such as Jacob Collier, Namali Kwaten & David Mrakpor( Blue Lab Beats), Film star Sheila Atim, Michael Kiwanuka, Soweto Kinch and many more I am experienced in delivering lessons that turn into useful practices that can be used in real world situations
