About Serah
I am a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Perioperative Nurse (RPON) with 11 years clinical experience in Operating Theatre, Recovery Room, and Surgical wards. I am currently pursuing my BNSC degree.
Teaching is my passion. For years, I have trained student nurses in the hospital, helping them understand complex procedures and patient care. I am patient supportive, and I explain until you truly get it.
I teach from real clinical cases, I have seen in the OR, not just textbooks. This makes learning practical, memorable and easy to apply in exams and real nursing practice. I especially love helping students who are struggling or retaking exams to regain confidence and pass.

METHODOLOGY: My lessons are focused on making difficult nursing concepts simple and easy to remember for NCLEX-RN success.
What I teach:
I teach Perioperative Nursing (pre-operative assessment, intra-operative safety and sterile technique, post-operative complications like hemorrhage, infection, DVT, dehiscence), Medical-Surgical Nursing, Fundamentals, Pharmacology, and Anatomy & Physiology.
How I teach - My 4 step Method:
Step 1 - Understand: I explain the topic in simple language with real OR stories. For example, instead of just defining hemorrhage, I tell you how we spot it in recovery and what we do in 5 minutes.
Step 2- Visualize: I use diagrams, flowcharts, tables, and powerful mnemonics. My students remember post-op complications with HiDDeN' long after the class.
Step 3 - Practice: Every class includes 20+ NCLEX -style questions ( SATA, Prioritization, Delegation). We analyze each option - why correct answer is correct, why others are wrong. This train your critical thinking.
Step 4 - Personalize: First class is assessment. I identify your weak topics and create a personalized study plan. We track progress weekly.
Who are my classes for? Nursing students in university, new graduates preparing for NCLEX-RN, retakers who need a different approach, and nurses who want to refresh knowledge.
Classes are online 1:1, 60 minutes, flexible scheduling, with notes and practice questions provided after each lesson.

Illinois-licensed RN - NCLEX-RN Prep / $25/hr Online
My hourly rate is $25/hr for 1-on-1 online tutoring via webcam (Zoom/Google Meet). No extra fees for webcam or travel - 100% online.
What is included: Study plan, NCLEX-style questions, rationales, test-taking strategies, and review of your weak areas.
Packs: 5hrs = $115 (save $10) and 10hrs = $220 (10 sessions) - best for full content review before your exam date.

I am licensed in Illinois but I teach online from Lagos, Nigeria and I am very flexible with US time Zones (CST/ EST). I keep my rate at $25 as an introductory rate for my first students on Superprof.
