About Nancy
I have been online tutoring reading and ESL for the past 5 years. I have taught children and adults who are learning English. I specialize in teaching beginning readers. I am a retired, certified teacher with a specialization in reading and teaching ESL. I have successfully taught students from age 4 to 40.

I base my lessons on what the student needs to work on. I use real children's literature to teach reading and writing. I also use storytelling. I make sure that the lesson is upbeat and that everyone laughs at some point. There may be singing involved.
