About Patient

Hello! My name is Patient from South Africa. I am a fun-loving person and love to keep people around me happy. I hold a 120hr TESOL/TEFL certificate that qualifies me to teach English to kids and adults.
I love teaching English because I love making a difference in people's lives and I love the creativity and independence it comes with. Teaching also give me the opportunity to meet new people from different places and learn their culture.
My focus is on your goals and don't be scared to make mistakes because through those mistakes that is where you learn and be better.

About the lesson

My lessons with you will be fun yet educational. I will give you the freedom to speak freely without the fear of making mistakes and mistakes will be corrected. Lessons will be more conversational and you will not feel like you are in class.
I teach English to kids and adults. My teaching methods will include Direct Method - where we will practice listening and speaking skills. I will teach vocabulary and grammar and we will have a controlled dialogue in which I will ask questions based on what I taught you.
Total Physical Response - where we will use our bodies, eg. facial expressions to communicate. In that way we will be creating a brain link between speech and action to boost language and vocabulary learning.
