About Patrick
After finding my vocation in teaching, I developed my educational profile at Bournemouth and Poole College, Wiltshire College and more recently Bournemouth University. I am an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and gained my second teaching qualification; the Advanced (HEA) Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice, in September 2020.

I teach through discussion, Q+A, direct lectures and applied collaborative exploration and investigation in the classroom, studio and on location. As a humanist tutor I support, challenge and set targets in collaboration with the student(s). I emphasise the application of theory against professional practice. I have effectively supported students in building industry standard portfolios, aligned with the Royal Photographic Society and the British Institute of Photography (if required).
