About Katie
I helped develop the curriculum for PSCHE lessons (pyhsical, social, citizenship and health education). This was rolled out nationally and I was able to deliver the lessons myself in some schools. It had an emphasis on boosting self confidence and highlighted the impact of social media on self esteem.

I have been working in health and social care for over seven years, I have had the opportunity to work in a diverse range of settings with a variety of service users. I understand the requirements of health and social care courses as I have an extended diploma in health and social care. As a nearly qualified social worker I also have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation. I have taught at A-level and BTEC level and trained staff in health and social care roles.
I am friendly and approachable and as I have studied health and social care my self I understand where students are coming from. No question is a silly question!
