About Sabina

I am a professional and approachable tutor with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of East London and a strong background in software engineering. My passion lies in making complex subjects simple and accessible, whether it’s helping a secondary school student build confidence in computer science and science or guiding university learners through programming and data analysis. With both academic knowledge and real-world industry experience, I bring a balance of theory and practical application to every lesson. Students can expect a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions, practise regularly, and achieve their goals. I have worked with learners of different ages and levels, from secondary school (KS3, GCSE, A-Level) to university students and adult learners, always adapting my teaching style to match their needs. My professional background reassures students and parents alike that they are learning from someone who is both highly qualified and genuinely committed to their success.

My teaching approach is simple, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I believe that every learner has a unique pace, so I focus on breaking down complex ideas into clear, step-by-step explanations. I use real-world examples, interactive exercises, and practice questions to make lessons engaging and practical. A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, but I can adjust depending on the student’s needs and attention span. Sessions usually include a short recap of previous topics, guided practice, and problem-solving to build confidence and long-term understanding. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of East London and hands-on experience as a software engineer, I combine academic knowledge with real-world applications. I also have experience supporting secondary school and university students with coursework, coding projects, and exam preparation. My lessons are suitable for: Secondary school students (KS3, GCSE, A-Level): Computer Science, Maths, and General Science University/College students: Programming, Algorithms, Web Development, Data Analysis Beginner coders or adult learners: Introduction to coding, digital literacy, and practical computer skills I aim to make learning enjoyable, confidence-building, and tailored to your personal goals.
