About Anna
As a passionate and experienced vocalist, I specialise in Soul, RnB, Blues, Jazz, Rock, and Pop, with years of live performance and teaching experience. I hold a bachelor's degree in Popular Music Performance with vocals from BIMM, one of the leading institutions for contemporary music in London. My training, combined with years of experience, enables me to provide high-quality, personalised vocal coaching. I have been the lead vocalist in my own and in several function bands around London which gave me additional performance experience. I recently completed my master's degree in Commercial Songwriting and Production at Tileyard Education, further enhancing my understanding of the music industry. This combination of academic training and hands-on experience equips me to guide singers not only in developing their vocal technique but also in understanding the demands of live performance and maintaining vocal health. Whether you’re preparing for gigs or honing your craft, my lessons are designed to help you achieve your goals with confidence and professionalism.

My approach to tutoring focuses on developing vocal skills across a range of genres, including Soul, RnB, Blues, Jazz, Rock, and Pop. Every lesson begins with essential vocal warm-ups that focus on breath control, vocal exercises, and technique. These warm-ups lay the groundwork for strengthening your voice and preparing it for the session ahead.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, and during that time, you will choose one song you'd like to work on, while I will suggest another that complements your progress. We focus on a maximum of two songs per session, with attention to technique, emotional expression, and interpretation, helping you shape your unique sound. I tailor my lessons to suit your level—whether you're a beginner or an experienced singer.
With years of experience as a performer and teacher in Soul, RnB, and related styles, I aim to inspire vocalists of all levels and ages, helping them build confidence and find their voice.
