About Will
I am a current Masters student and graduate in Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University and I have studied Spanish for 11 years! I received a 2.1 in a degree in Spanish and German which included a 6 month placement in Madrid and in which I received a distinction in spoken Spanish. I have tutored Spanish students for the last 6 years ranging from year 7 students to retirees. I have been described by previous employers and students that I am kind, open and hard working. I always keep up to date with the latest research in the language and teaching which allows me to provide the best service possible. DBS approved

I base my classes on increasing Spanish fluency and deep understanding of topics. I get my students as exposed to using all language skills to not only develop their Spanish skills significantly but to also improve their linguistic abilities. For A-Level students, my lessons are usually taught in Spanish (unless my student says otherwise) with some English guidance. However, for younger years, I teach primarily in English. I usually work with my student to create a plan to strengthen their weakest areas and abilities. Then once I create this plan out I use worksheets, past papers and active speaking exercises to ensure efficiency and progress

Perfect! Will helped me go from a grade 5 to a grade 9 in 3 months. I thoroughly recommend Will.
Perfect! I am so happy that I found Will as a Spanish tutor. I have tried on and off to learn Spanish for over 20 years and failed every time whether it has been learning on my own or with tutors. After an initial assessment of my capabilities, Will has tailored all my lessons to focus on my weaknesses and explained everything to me in a way that I understand. He will push me and challenge me but in a way that also make this totally enjoyable. I can safely say that I will continue to use Will until I have reached a level I am happy with. I completely recommend Will as a tutor - he is a polite, kind and friendly man and I couldn't be happier.
Perfect! Will was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. I was put me through my paces in my first lesson as we got straight down to it after brief introductions etc. but that's exactly what I'd hoped for :-) Never thought I'd be conjugating regular and irregular verbs again after 40 years at school but thoroughly enjoyed it (unlike at school!!!)
