About Miguel
I teach beginning and intermediate guitar, and emphasize the enjoyment of learning music, and of course, the guitar. I began learning the guitar when I was eight. After changing my college major from physics to music in 2005, I never looked back. I studied under Michael Chapdelaine, and have performed with the University of New Mexico Guitar Quartet. I've also taught at Hummingbird Music Camp, in Jemez Springs, New Mexico for 9 years. I came to love music there, and I sincerely enjoy being able to pass it on to everyone, no matter their stage in life. I currently am going to back to school for electrical engineering, but the guitar will always be near and dear to my heart.
I love seeing the joy that a student gets when he/she can put some notes together and make a song.
