Ms. James is an incredible vocal coach with a lot of experience and knowledge. She is very thorough with her explanations/teachings and provides a very personalized experience for your vocal journey. She is very patient and not only informs you of WHAT to do to improve your vocals, but also WHY you need to do these different things. I would highly recommend Ms. James to anyone seeking to improve their vocals.

There isn’t a single complaint I have about working with Jamie. There is always something to work on and she makes sure that you understand the lesson before she moves on. There isn’t a lesson that I’ve walked out of where I didn’t feel like a better actor afterwards.

The exercises have been beyond helpful and I improve with each lesson. Going over the dialogues in different ways and even the breathing exercises have helped tremendously.

I love the smile on my daughters face when she leaves and the excitement when she talks about her lessons. She is 10 and the youngest of our 4 daughters, we have always pushed her into activities that her sisters have done, these were all failures! When she said she wanted to get into theater I had no idea where to start, this is something we have never done.
The few months she has been working with Voiceboxqueen she has experienced being back stage, makeup, has been given the opportunity to work on costumes for the high school and much more. I love that she isn’t focused on one area she is getting to know Adalei, and teaching her how it all comes together. I am so grateful to have found someone and something that makes my daughter so excited and happy!

Jamie is an amazing teacher! I LOVE coming to my lessons because I know I’m going to get so much more than just a basic voice lessons. I’ve always wanted to study acting/singing, but never felt confident enough to do so, but these sessions have already helped me so much, and that has so much to do with the fact that Jamie is so knowledgeable in her craft and she creates a really cool and comfortable, judgement-free environment. She makes me work hard and always want to learn more. I’m genuinely excited for our class every week because I learn so much, make clear improvements each week, and I leave knowing exactly what I need to work on. I really couldn’t recommend her more highly. She is who you need to see if you are looking to expand your singing and acting skills. It’s very clear that she loves what she does, and is able to help others improve as well! Honestly, 100% recommend her to anyone, no matter what your level of experience is! :)

Jamie has tailored my classes to meet my needs. She has provided a part of my vocal training that I was missing. Progress started immediately. Classes are fun, engaging and challenging.
