My experience in medicine spans over 30 years.and is based in hard sciences, so the concept of “Reiki” seemed rather fringe and suspect to me at first. Then I began to study this concept, I came to realize that this system is actually based on modern day application of quantum physics, meaning that all life is based on energy substrates. Reiki to my understanding is based on manipulating these energy fields in a manner somewhat similar to how I manipulate the joints to affect the neurological system.
My skepticism was thoroughly addressed when out of desperation and suffering for several years with debilitating back pain, I sought the treatment of Reiki by Katherine McBride. I have to say I’m rather amazed that in only 3 sessions I experienced a 80% (at least) improvement in symptoms.
Now, due to my own positive results, I refer my patients to her for therapy. She is now available to see and schedule appointments through my office and the feed-back I have received from these patients has been overwhelmingly positive.

I used Reiki to prepare for sports tournaments and to recover after the tournament. I also used it after a surgery. In both cases my recovery was speedy and I was able to get back to normal activity quickly. Kathrine did a great job, an is my go to person for health issues.

Katherine is a great Reiki master. I’ve learned Reiki level 1 and 2 with her and it has been fabulous. The learning materials were easy to understand and Katherine explains everything in such a simple way. She is very passionate about what she does and just being around her, you feel at home. She is also very accommodating. I was able to bring Non-English speaking friend for private lessons to learn and translate for them while Katherine does her teachings.

I have had an amazing experience with Katherine both as a client and a student! As a client of her Reiki treatment I experienced the most relaxing and healing session of any I have had. As a student I attended her Reiki I class in December and really loved the intimate class size and instruction so that I am returning for Reiki II with the intention of taking the rest of my classes through her. I cannot recommend the therapy and the training enough!

I just had a Reiki Session with Katherine and I feel amazing. She took the time to speak with me prior to the session and again afterwards to see how I felt. She is gifted. During the session, I could feel myself becoming more centered and balanced and afterwards my physical body was at more ease and I felt both lighter and clearer emotionally and mentally.
