About Noor
I am an experienced English tutor with a track record of ensuring that students achieve their target grade. Helping students to improve their essays and writing is one of my main responsibilities. I have tutored students of all age ranges and exam boards and have administered focused preparation sessions for GCSE and A-level students. Motivating children with learning difficulties to bolster confidence and skills is another one of the key aspects of my role. I have a passion for teaching, and I have completed over 500 hours of English lessons over the course of two years.
I am currently completing a degree in Comparative literature, therefore I am constantly writing and editing essays and coursework. The nature of my degree demands that I continuously improve my writing level and convey my argument in the clearest way possible. Because I am a student, I have a flexible schedule, which means that I will be able to dedicate myself fully to your needs.

I have a lot of experience teaching Primary, GCSE and A-level students. My lessons aim to prepare each student for their exams and help them achieve their target grade. My lesson structure follows the general formula of beginning with a demonstration, where I give the student some information about how best to answer a particular exam question. Then the student and I plan an answer or form a strategy together. Thereafter, the student has a go at attempting to answer the question independently. When they are done, I read the response and give them feedback on how to improve their answer. The lessons have a good balance of independent work and collaborative work.
