About Sravya
I'm an incoming student at UC San Diego with a strong passion for education. Throughout high school, I completed advanced math coursework, including AP Statistics and AP Calculus BC, and earned a 1520 SAT score. I have over 100 hours of tutoring and lesson-planning experience working with students across many grade levels.
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students build confidence in subjects they once found challenging. Every student learns differently, so I focus on making sure I create a supportive environment where questions are always welcome.

My name is Sravya, and I believe math is easiest to learn when students can actually see what is happening instead of memorizing boring formulas. My teaching approach is focused on visual explanations, diagrams, and step-by-step problems.
A typical lesson begins with identifying concepts the student finds difficult, followed by guided examples where I explain both the process and the reasoning behind each step. Students then practice similar problems while I provide strategies for improvement.
I have experience tutoring students across multiple grade levels and over 100 hours of tutoring and lesson planning experience. My lessons are designed for elementary to early high school students studying mathematics, including geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, statistics, and general math courses. My goal is to help students overcome difficult hurdles in learning math but also to help them develop the critical thinking skills needed to succeed by themselves.
