About Joon
I am a working artist, calligrapher and designer with many years of experience helping people reach their creative potential. If you are interested in Chinese brush painting, watercolor or calligraphy I can guide you through the learning process. I take students at any level. I have worked with people with no previous art experience as well as helped accomplished artists reach new levels in their own artistic expression.
I studied painting and calligraphy with Chen Lok Lee, Rulan Weng and Yao Youxin; studied Chinese at the University of Pennsylvania; and hold a fine arts degree from University of the Arts (Philadelphia).
