Rick would always tell me what was right and wrong with my swing. Even if I felt like it was my worse lesson ever, he could always make me believe in myself, and that I was still doing my fundamentals correctly. If he's explaining how to fix a problem and you don't understand it, he will use such tools as a recording of yourself or a demonstration to show you exactly what he means.

Coach Rick was excellent to work with. He focused in on each kid's needs to make a group workshop an individual experience. My kids loved working with Coach Rick and saw improvement each time they met with him.

He has the ability to raise a players confidence which in turn motivates them to try harder. The short time my boy played with Rick didn't really show till he played with boys his age and we were able to see how much he really picked up from Rick, so thanks, just wished he had a group my sons age cause that's where we would be playing

Rick is naturally a positive person and manages the boys many varying personalities well, but what my son and I are drawn to is Rick’s passion to develop young ball players the right way. Starting with professional league experience of his own and studying the nuances of each aspect of the game gives Rick the ability to break down and teach the game in ways that young people can consume and apply. Rick encourages my son to have high goals, but a daily ‘go to work’ approach that is practical and realistic of what it will take to achieve those goals. My son came to Rick just over a year ago with athleticism, but unrefined baseball skills and knowledge and no approach to improving those skills. This winter he started practicing with the high school team and one of his coaches said he had the best pure bat swing of anyone on the highschool team, that is a tribute to Rick working with him this past year.
