About William
I'm a former 14th round draft pick of the LA Dodgers with years of pro baseball experience. At the youth level I've taught all aspects of the game as a manager, coach and instructor since my last day of pro baseball.
I've been teaching baseball since my nephew started playing ball. Having a uncle playing pro baseball he wanted to follow my steps and would pick my brain for tips, drills and things to get better at the game. Then after my pro baseball career was over I wanted to share the knowledge I've learned from some of the best baseball minds in pro baseball to others.
I was drafted out of HS by the LA Dodgers in the 14th round and played 8 years of pro baseball for various teams. I've been managing, coaching and instructing baseball since my last day of pro baseball.

My approach is different for every individual depending on what positives and negatives I see and what the student is looking to approve on. I'm big on proper technique and tailoring drills to accomplish this.
I've worked with students from the age of 5 to 21. From very little to D1 college experience.

Coach Willie is great. He's always on time and in contact. His lessons are full of full knowledge and great drills. The value he gives us is outstanding.
Willie is an amazing baseball coach with tremendous knowledge of the game. He still plays and enjoys it . He is serious about teaching young ball players the fundamentals of baseball. With patience, he is eager to get your ball player to develop good habits and break old ones where necessary. He explains concepts as well as ask questions. He challenges ball players to think and make adjustments by understanding specific techniques. My son has been practicing with Willie during the off season and it was immediately recognized by coaches and parents alike once he returned to the gym. I recommend lessons with Willie King.
