About Emilee
I have school and life experience in many fields and in many different areas. I have a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science with a focus in Kinesiology and am working on completing my BSN currently. I have worked in the medical field for 8 years and worked in customer service before that.
I am both patient and understanding and will assist in any subject I can!
The work I do varies. The bottom line though is I love helping people! I love sharing the knowledge I have and watching as the person I'm assisting starts to make those connections and develop those skills. There is nothing more satisfying for me than watching the people I interact with succeed.
I have a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science with a focus in Kinesiology.
I have worked in the medical field for 8 years. I first entered the field as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked in both Adult Foster Care homes and providing in-home help. From there I obtained my Emergency Medical Technician-Basic license. With that I have earned certifications in Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization, CPR, and first aid.
I am also currently working on my Bachelors of Science in Nursing to further my career in the health field.

When starting with new students I first want to find out what their goals are regarding our meetings. I feel like this is a good place to start because everyone requests tutors for a variety of reasons and no two students are the same. I would then move on to figure out which kind of learning style this student learns best by. This is done by incorporating a single concept and teaching it in multiple methods to determine which was best for that particular student.
