About Joel
I recently retired after more than 50 years in Emergency Medical Services. I have been teaching CPR and First Aid for over 12 years. I teach Health Care provider and non health care provider classes. All my classes are American Heart association and American Safety and health Institute approved and mee or exceed national guidlines.
Wether you are a health care professional and require certification or you want to be prepared in case of an emergency, I have a class for you
I derive great satisfaction in teaching people that they can save a life. Every year 300 thousand people suffer an out of hospital cardiac arrest. More than 92 percent of these people do not survive to be discharged from the hospital. One of the reasons for the low survival rate is due to the fact that most bystanders are not trained in CPR or are afraid to act.
If bystanders were trained in CPR and the use of (AEDs) Automated External Defibrilators thousands of lives could be saved
