About Daniel
Hello, my name is Daniel. I've been around basketball my whole life. I starting playing on a team at age 6 through the local NJB. My playing career ended at the high school level, but that's where my coaching career picked up. I have coached at the school level, spending time at both Ayala and Chino Hills High Schools. I'm currently working with a youth skill development program that has athletes from age 6 to 16. I've worked with athletes who've never picked up ball, and athletes who went on to play collegiately. I love the game, it's a huge part of my life. Being able to pass on my knowledge to the next generation keeps that passion going.
I have been blessed play and work for many great coaches and in multiple systems. My strength as a player was/is being fundamentally sound, and that's where I try to focus my coaching. Learning the mental skills involved in the game as well as the physical.
