About Spencer
The most unique thing about my teacher is my understanding of the creative process, I've been through it time and time again. I know what it feels like be stymied by self doubt, I know how to overcome it, and I know what it feels like to feel the triumph of success. Becoming a good artist isn't just about talent, in fact, I believe that's the least important part - to me, it's about how you show up to the work. How consistent you are, how trusting you are, and how curious you are. Those are, in my opinion, the pillars of artistry. I can teach you how to strengthen all of them and in the process, yourself.
I just love writing. I love figuring out what someone's vision is, and I love figuring out how to get them closer to it. It's truly my favorite thing. I can do it all day, because ultimately it helps me become a better writer! My dream is make a living as a writer and to produce works of widespread acclaim, the way I see it, everyone is welcome on my journey to the top!
I've spent my entire life in the theater, first as an actor, then as a writer. I've worked on at least thirty sets in my professional career and as many stages. I know the field inside and out and what works as a written product and what doesn't.
