About Joan
We teach children from 3 to Adult ISTD exam syllabus classes enabling students to take exams, assist in their general creative and physical development and preparing those thinking of dance a or teaching as a career. We want everyone to love dancing!

The Principal trained for three years full-time at Laine Theatre Arts Ltd., under Betty Laine, and holds Licentiate qualification in ISTD Modern Theatre Dance, and Diploma of Dance Education qualifications in Imperial Ballet, Modern Theatre, Tap and National Dance, besides having theatrical and choreographic experience in this country and abroad.

You can have a trial class, and our policy is that you pay weekly for the remainder of the first term you attend. Thereafter, we issue a termly invoice (except for Adult classes which operate on a pay-as-you-go basis), but you can pay your invoice in instalments.
If you're an older beginner, we might suggest you take some classes with younger children as well as with your age group to begin with, to help you get some background, and these will be free.
For families of three or more children attending during the same calendar period, our policy is that you only pay for the two taking the most classes.
