About Yelisa
Helllo! My name is Yelisa Cortez and I'm currently a Instructor at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Youngstown. We teach all different styles of dances from Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Bachata, Rumba, Cha-cha, East coast swing, country dance and many many more!! This studio stand out because we are a friendly loving environment! Everyone starts off just like you. We have so many events that you would love to be apart of :) (I have info if interested in getting involved with the studio)
I teach/dance to entertain others but it's really an excitement of being free! When I dance it's like I'm showing my soul to everyone and letting them see the real me. I spread love through dance. I love expressing my feelings on the dance floor especially while having fun doing so! I've been dancing hiphop all my life and I love ittt! I recently got into ballroom dancing but I am a certified Ballroom dance Instructor and I have a full background of Latin dances more so of cha-cha, salsa and Bachata! My job is to create confidence & being comfy on the dance floor. Anyone can most definitely learn how to dance you just need a great Teacher so stop reading and LET'S DANCE!!!
