About Jessica
I provide quality dance instruction to all ages and abilities!
This is my 5th year as a professional dance instructor in the Metro Detroit area.
ABOUT ME: I have been dancing since age 3, competitively dancing since age 9, and choreographing routines since age 14. I have coached a varsity high school dance team, choreographed for middle school choirs, and I currently work with a DJ company to dance and MC at special events.
I have experience teaching and vast knowledge in the following styles:
Ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, Pom & more!
Ages 2 - adult. Individual or group lessons.
Get the one-on-one instruction and corrections you need to become the dancer you've always dreamed of!

I found a teaching job online right after I completed 1 year of college in the honors program at Central Michigan University. It was always my dream job!

First, I assess your dancing ability by asking you a few questions about your dance experience history. It is important for me to know what your dance goals are so I can teach you at the proper level.
For example, if you have never done ballet before, I will know that I need to explain in detail the steps , the terminology and its meaning. If you are familiar with ballet, I will know to skip some of the basics so you can progress as quickly as possible.
Ages 2 years - adult! Beginning, intermediate, and advanced level.
Choose an instructor that will cater their lessons to your individual abilities and goals. There is nothing worse than paying for a lesson that is either too easy or way too challenging!
This year I was part of recitals for 3 different dance studios. It is so rewarding to see my students on stage at the end of the year shining like stars!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are your goals you wish to achieve by taking lessons? (Gain flexibility, body awareness, or balance, improve dance ability, learn how to dance at parties, have fun, Improve your athleticism, strength, or endurance, challenge yourself by trying something new, etc.)
How many lessons do you wish to receive? Obviously dance abilities improve over time with hard work and not in one session, so think about how much work you want to put in and what works with your schedule. Once a week for 3 months? Twice a month for 5 months? Or a 2-3 hour session one time only?
