About Lisa
Leggz is starting it's 30th year! We are the oldest dance studio in Osceola County. I am one of 5 teachers in the state of Florida to be certified by the Royal Academy of Dance, which is the largest and oldest dance organization in the world.
We have a set syllabus for all of our classes which promotes consistency amongst the teachers. Parents may watch every class, as we have viewing windows.
Leggz is non-competitive. I feel that my job as a dance teacher is not to get your child a trophy, but to make sure that they can get a job in the world of dance. And dance should be FUN, not stressful. Leggz is a family environment, and we have many second generation students.
I have always loved passing along my knowledge to children and adults, and making sure that they are taught correctly. The US is the only country in the world that doesn't require a license to teach dance. That is why I became certified with the RAD.
I have been dancing for 50 years and teaching for 32. I am one of only 5 teachers, in the state of Florida, to be registered with the Royal Academy of Dance. Each year, I must complete 20 additional hours. All of my tumbling instructors are U.S.A. Gymnastics Safety Certified.

Students are placed in the appropriate level class for their age and ability. A student does not move to the next level until they have accomplished all of the skills in the previous level, and we will work with students to make sure they can reach their goals.
We teach students ages 18 months through adults.
I would say to check their certification. Ask what style of ballet they teach, (American is not a style), and avoid competition for young students.
This past year, we had our first boy graduate who started in Little Stars, which means he was 1 year old when he started. We have had several girls accomplish this, but never a boy.

Details
For 18 months-5 years old, tuition is as follows: 1 weekly class is $53 a month, 2 classes is $90, and 3 classes is $127
For ages 6-adults, tuition is as follows: 1 hour weekly is $58 a month, 2 hours is $100, 3 hours is $144, on up to unlimited classes, which is $240 a month.
