About Dustin
I currently dance professionally with The Big Muddy Dance Company, and am constantly using my experience to develop my skills as a teacher. I make sure to highlight the joy of dancing while challenging students to always ask for more of themselves.
I love nurturing growth in students, and helping them find the nuanced ways that dancing can help them grown in confidence and learn problem-solving skills through patience and awareness.
I have trained at many formidable dance institutions, including Point Park University, Ballet Austin, Houston Metropolitan Dance Center, Alonzo King's LINES Ballet, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.

I usually assess the student with various exercises rooted in the style of dance they wish to learn more about. From there, I help identify areas that might need some development, and I help the student employ strategies to navigate those areas with more efficiency. The real work happens when I help the student navigate and solve issues with technique on their own.
