About David
With over 40 years of experiance in drawing and 20+ years in oils we have gone through the "formal education" facade. Understand that EVERY ONE is capable of greatness. Sometimes, one person hears something in a way that others may not, finding the way that you wrap your head around art, is the key. That and WORK- doing it! - will bring you what you seek in your art. Let's find it!
I learned to paint in oils. Alla Prima style portraits
For over a decade, on weekend "paint nights" an informal education was gained. Alla Primas were the goal and completed within 4 hours from a live model. The entire pallet and process was discussed amongst friends but lead by an instructor of portraiture from Pasadena Art Center.
