About Donna
Teaching elementary art for 25 years. Costume design and construction. Expert at helping beginners find their artistic style and preferences. Certified in SC to teach Visual Arts and Theatre.
I understand the insecurity people have about their artistic abilities. I'm good at getting them over that hump and on to enjoying their own particular style. I love seeing the ideas that emerge from a budding artist, no matter whether they are 4 or 84.

To get off to a good start I like to look at any art they may already have created. Then I begin with easy and fun warm-up activities to get the student used to the materials. Soon we begin a project which results in a finished artwork.
