About Margaret
I have been teaching drawing and painting classes for 25+ years to students of all ages. I began by offering art to my children's high school and grade school classes in a school system that had no arts program.
In 2006 I graduated from Meredith College with a degree in art education, subsequently teaching high school for the Wake Co school system for 8 years.
Since then I taught adults acrylic painting for 3 years at wine and paint businesses. Most recently I taught watercolor and alcohol ink classes for the Adult continuing Education program through Wake Co.
I have been a resident artist at Sunflower Studio and Gallery, and have shown my work at various other venues including The Renaissance Center in Wake Forest, Wake Med Hospital, Gallery 311 in Raleigh, Rex Hospital and the Corner in Wake Forest.
I am a current member of the Wake Forest Guild of Artists and a docent for the North Carolina Musem of Art.
