About Harjeen
I am a recent law school graduate, so I've spent a lot of time learning how to read and write effectively. I can help someone improve reading comprehension and writing quality at all stages and abilities. I've been tutoring for 10 years, and have a bachelors of science in Child Learning and Development in addition to my Doctor of Jurisprudence.
I love getting to know students and learning what makes them unique, and what they're passionate about.
I have a BS in Child Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin, plus a JD. I have 10 years experience tutoring, mainly in reading and writing, and used to work at a Kumon.

I will spend some time chatting with the student to get to know them and build rapport. Then I'll ask to see some work they are proud of (could be an art project, a story they've written, anything), and then something they want to improve on. This helps the student realize that they are skilled and capable of putting out something great!
