About Fallon
Hi! My name is Fallon Smalberg. I have a B.A. from New York University in Psychology and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. I have worked in several labs including the UCLA Childhood OCD, Anxiety & Tic Disorders Program. In 2018, I published a paper in the Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology on sleep disorders in children with ADHD. I have been tutoring since 2019 and specialize in English, Writing, Psychology, and Neuroscience.
I love helping people learn new concepts and skills. It is a wonderful feeling helping a student achieve something they thought was impossible before we started working together. My favorite part of tutoring is instilling lasting confidence in my students. I am based in Brooklyn, New York and offer in-person, phone, and virtual tutoring sessions.
In my free time I love doing yoga and listening to podcasts. I am also a painter and spend as much time as possible engaged in creative flow.
When I graduated from New York University in 2018, I received an email from a TA from one of my Psychology courses telling me that I had received one of the highest grades in the class and asked if I would be available for tutoring the following semsters' students. I immediately replied that I would love to! The following semester, several students reached out for tutoring sessions and that's how I got started!

I usually charge $125/hour, but offer packages based on how many sessions a student intends to have. I also offer sliding scale pricing.
