About Kay
I have always had the gift of English composition and was urged by many educators in my secondary and tertiary academic career to continue to write creatively. I also have experience with business writing, as I was employed by a major utility company in the state of Florida, U.S., to maintain polished and professional business correspondence by various means of communication (ie phone, fax, e-mail, and printed mailings), while satisfying the needs of residential and small business customers. My real passion, however, is on the creative side of writing and I am currently in the process of writing and self-publishing my first children's book.
I'd love to help others sharpen their English communication skills, whether conversationally, scholastically, or in business. I am also in the process of obtaining my TEFL certification as well.
I homeschool my children.
I have an Associates in the Arts from Palm Beach State College. I am also undergoing the process of obtaining my TEFL certification.

I introduce myself and then ask a few short questions to gain clarity on your interests and needs so that we can narrow the area of focus and cut down on mismanaged time.
I have worked with school aged children but am able to assist adults as well.
English is not the easiest language to master but with the right effort and time invested, it can be done. Relax and try to have fun throughout the process; it helps. Make small goals and work each day to master them one at a time. Before you know it, you'll be a proficient at whatever it is you wish to accomplish.
