About Gary
As somebody who recently applied to and was admitted to multiple top tier universities in this recent admissions cycle, I have a good sense of what helped me to stand out and gain admission to schools. On the other hand, I have a good grasp of the mistakes that I made and how they can be avoided.
I always knew that I would go to college, and I love helping other students on their own path. No matter how little or how much each student knows about college and the admissions process, I enjoy helping my peers step closer towards the future that they envision for themselves.
During my time in high school, I completed 13 AP courses that stretched across every major subject. I received an average score of 4.46 across all of them (on a scale of 5), resulting in my recognition as a National AP Scholar with Distinction. Additionally, I received a 5 on my AP Literature and Composition Exam.
I received a 780 on the SAT Verbal portion on a scale of 800. Additionally, I received a 35 on ACT Writing and a 36 on ACT Reading, both on a scale of 36.
This past year, I was admitted to a serious of top-tier universities: UCLA, USC, UC-Irvine, Northeastern University, Vassar College, and Tulane University among them. I will be attending UCLA this Fall.

Immediately, I like to spend a little bit of time getting to know the student: what they enjoy doing in their freetime, their career or academic goals, and how they view themselves as a student.
Before the first meeting, I request that the student sends me a sample of their writing (preferably edited by only the student) to get a sense of the manner in which they write. This allows me to identify each student's strengths and weaknesses, as well as their individual voice.
