About Kayla
I am eager, patient, and dedicated to helping students across a variety of levels in essay writing, reading comprehsion, and other English related topics. I am also bilingual (Spanish) and can fully assit with ESL
I enjoy the warm feeling of helping someone have their "a-ha" moment with something they had previously had so much trouble with.
It truly fulfills me as a person to help other succeed in their academic life. I want to help as many people as I can improve their lives in one way or another.
I have always had a passion for helping people with what I know best! I have always been an editor for anyone who needs it or informative to those who want to learn.
I work as a tutor at local college in my area where I work with different subjects such as ENC, EAP or ESL, Psychology, and Philosophy. I have been a tutor for 2 years at this college.

I'm very patient and easy going. I am flexible and understanding of all students needs.
I have worked with students as young as 12 and as old as 62. I have also worked with students acorss different levels of English and across other courses that require writing assignments.
I also have worked in the past with students with exceptionalities and currently work with them as a tutor in a local college.
Find a teacher that suits your individual needs. Not every teacher is going to be a right fit for you. It is up to you to make that decission.
I always recommend someone who is patient and willing to walk things over as many times as needed, someone like me. :)

Kayla is the most knowledgeable, patient, and understanding tutor I have encountered as a student. She has helped me numerous times to portray my ideas in my writing and has always been available to help me even though we did not have any appointments scheduled prior. She is a wonderful tutor who I will always be thankful for because she has facilitated my life.
Kayla was very helpful and creative when it came to brainstorming for my essays. She helped me organize my ideas and express what I wanted to say in my paper. She was also very kind and knowledgeable in the book I had to write about (The Great Gatsby).
