About Michael
Through years of teaching and tutoring in and around the Philadelphia area, I have developed a passion for education. Since 2012, I've been working with students one-on-one to help enhance and master their educational skills.
Currently, I work as a science teacher in the Upper Darby School Distirct. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Pennsylvania K-6 certification in ELA and Science.
I enjoy seeing each student achieve. It's one thing when it happens in the classroom, but I feel it's more impactful when you have a stronger relationship with them.

My typical process for working with a new student is to get to know how they learn as a student and build a rapport with them. Once I can establish their learning style, I can build and plan my lessons around that. I feel it's best that the students achieve when they can relate to the topic or see how it can apply to them.
