About Alejandra
My name is Ale Osuna and I've been an elementary teacher for over 3 years. So far, I have found that profession is my passion and what I enjoy the most is actually being able to see and hear how my students make progress in their abilities as well as in their knowledge.
I love being there for my students when they need me and I believe that watching them grow academically is the best feedback I can get.
I am a Primary School teacher and I specialize in ESL (English as a Second Language) but I also teach math, science, civics, history, geography and spanish.
I have a bachelor degree on Primary School Education.
I have received presential and online courses directly from Cambridge University about how to teach English as a Second Language.
And recently, I passed the TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) which certifies me as an English Teacher.

First, I like to connect with the student, get to know each other a little bit, and also set a comfortable environment for everyone.
Depending on the age and the needs, we talk a little bit about what they need or want to reinforce, academically speaking.
Then, for the first steps, I like to use games or dynamic activities that will let me know the best way to teach each student, according to their learning styles. From there, I start planning the activities and off we go.
Right now are hard times but we know that learning is never off the table, that is why teachers from all around the globe are adapting and adjusting our strategies and methods so that our students continue learning and having fun while doing so.
