About Maggie
I am a NYS certified teacher in elementary and special education. I offer specialized tutoring in each subject.
I enjoy watching children grow and gain confidence when they unlock their potential.
I have taught and tutored children from ages 4-13 in each subject specializing in reading instruction. I am a certified teacher and create some of my own educational content based on the needs I see in children.

When working with a new student I spend a full session with the parent free of charge to discuss the areas of need in their child. That way I can develop a plan for the child's specific needs. Then I spend time getting to know the child's needs and utilize a multitude of resources to help each individual child.
I have worked with students of all ability levels. While tutoring I have worked with many children with special needs. I have also tutored gifted students who require an above grade level challange. Many students I have worked with grew significantly in reading and math.
