About Brianna
Hi! My name is Brianna Reed. I have been playing the horn for 10+ years and have been teaching for 3+ years. I hold a Bachelor in Music Performance from Converse College in SC and am currently pursuing a Master's performance degree at the University of Arizona. I am a graduate/teaching assistant for the Fred Fox School of Music and teach a range of 4-5 students each semester.
I am passionate about teaching and sharing the richness of the horn. Through one-on-one lessons, our work will range from working on the basic fundemental skills needed to playing/performing music.
I hold a Bachelor in Music with an Honors in Performance and a Music History Cognate from Converse College located in Spartanburg, SC. My teacher was Anneka Zuehlke. While attending I taught several younger students (middle-school aged) in addition to teaching masterclasses at a local highschool.
Currently, I am pursuing a Masters degree in Horn Performance at the University of Arizona under Johanna Lundy. I am a graduate assistant for the Fred Fox Graduate Wind Quintet and we tour frequently to local schools. I am also a teaching assistant and teach about 4-5 undergraduate horn students each semester.

About the lesson

First lessons will be 45 minute-an hour lesson to get to know each other, figure out where you are, and create goals according to your desires and needs. From there, we will schedule lessons ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. i find that younger students do well with 45 minute lessons.
Each week you will be assigned practice material to prepare for the following week. I find that it weekly assignments show progress.

Details
Currently, I am available to travel to teach or do virtual lessons. My pricing is $35 for 30 minutes, $50 per 45 minutes, and $60 per hour. This includes gas. A virtual lesson is $30 for 30 minutes, $45 for 45 minutes, and $55 for an hour.
Pricing is flexible upon request.
