Make sure you hire someone that plays good. who has a good sound and technique, if your professor is also learning guitar, you are wasting your money. They guitar is a very complex instrument, it is not like a piano where all keys are layed in order. You need to find ways to memorize shapes and chords in a guitar. That will be extremly challenging if your teacher is not A PROFESSIONAL.
