I am currently the owner of a music shop in Loveland, and I previously owned a different music shop in town. Joe O'Bryan worked as a guitar/bass instructor at both locations, over the course of about eight years. I know Joe to be a highly qualified instructor, both in terms of his playing abilities and experiences, and his professionalism and passion for teaching. Joe is very enthusiastic and encouraging with his students, as evidenced by the smiles on their faces when coming and going from their lessons!

Joe personalizes his teaching style for each student - that extra touch is so helpful because not everyone learns the same way. He is patient and thoughtful in his feedback, which worked really well for me because I have zero natural musical talent. He taught me music theory in an interesting way along with tips to really get the most out of my playing.

Joe taught me for the better part of 5 or so years in my guitar journey. Not only did Joe encourage a love of the guitar for me, but taught me how to play my favorite kinds of music, focusing on a perfect balance between music theory, guitar technique and channeling my emotion into my music. I learned lifelong skills with Joe, including goal setting, patience, and how to practice. I could not recommend any teacher above Joe, because of his teaching, I still play and love the guitar.

Joe is the best teacher around! He makes learning the guitar SO much fun, and i am always eager for more after a lesson with him. After trying several different guitar teachers, i won't ever look back. Joes approach is very refreshing, and no matter what, i am always learning something new! -He is always able to explain things in new and different ways for each one of his students, if they are ever having a hard time understanding something. Which is such a valuable skill. I would recommend anyone to him- beginners(kids and adults), to very experienced players, to everyone else in between.
