First of all, I love music! I really enjoy playing guitar and listening to good music, but above all, I love teaching!
I want to share my musical knowledge and experience with those around me, because I know that music has the power to improve and enrich their lives.
I have more than 18 years of experience teaching ALL LEVELS of acoustic & electric guitar, bass guitar, piano/keyboard, ukulele, Tres Cubano guitar, songwriting, and music theory. (From 6 y/o to unlimited).
For 12 years, I was the teacher of acoustic & electric guitar, bass guitar, music theory, harmony, music discovery, music ensemble, and rock band at the “Miami Conservatory of Music” (located in the Coconut Grove area), until its final closure due to the pandemic.
I can provide you with great references of my performance as a professional teacher.
I thank life for giving me the privilege of music, to be able to show my students that life is a wonderful concert made up of endless beautiful melodies.
I'm also a very versatile music performer.

In an educational system characterized by the constant burden of academic goals, the stress of competition and the psychological pressure exerted by non-constructive criticism and bulling on young people; in a world that seems to encourage an over-critical society, causing many to feel inferior to the rest and that they are underachievement; we, as music teachers, really can and should do something about it.
I am honored to be able to help my students discover their own talents, to guide them on the creative path so that they can make the most of their potential, to help them learn to value themselves for who they are and to appreciate their own strengths and virtues in order to raise their self-esteem (not their ego), to support them so that they can develop self-confidence and forge their character, without losing their sensitivity to beauty.

Alternating with my musical career, I started my teaching journey as the teacher of guitar, music history, harmony, and counterpoint of the Conservatory of Music of Holguin, Cuba; even before I graduated from the University.
I was also invited to participate as a guitar performer in several guitar Master-Classes with many well-known guitarists, like Manuel Barrueco (Miami, 2009), Rafael Padrón (Miami, 2008), Victor Pellegrini (Havana, 2002), Joaquin Clerch (Havana, 2002), Leo Brouwer (Havana, 2000), and Robert Ausell (Havana, 2000).
I was the guitar, bass guitar, music theory, music initiation, harmony, music discovery, ensemble, and Rock band teacher at the “Miami Conservatory of Music - MCM”, located in the Coconut Grove area (Miami, FL) for 12 consecutive years (from 2008 until its final closure, due to the pandemic in 2020). During that period I presented 22 of my guitar students to participate in the “Florida Music Federation Clubs” contest, where each of them obtained outstanding results every and each year.
I was also a music teacher at the "Play and Learn Prek" school in 2011 and the guitar and music ensemble teacher at the “Academy of Arts and Minds” during the 2012-13 school year (Miami, FL).
After the final closure of the MCofM in 2020, I started my Private Music Lessons Program; which, thankfuly, has grown and remained successful for 1 year to date.
I've been involved in music since I was 9 years old, when I enrolled in the Vocational School of Arts of my hometown and never stopped studing music until I graduated with honors from the Superior Institute of Arts of Havana, Cuba; where I obtained my “Magna Cum Laude” Master’s Degree in both Classical Guitar and Musicology, 14 years later.
