About
For more than 20 years I have helped students tap into the joy of learning! I was a Boston Public Schools History teacher for 12 years, taught English for 2 years, and served as an SAT prep coach. Classes were always engaging through the use of videos, pictures, role playing, debates, and whatever theatrics I could muster up each day! I took a break from the classroom, but continued teaching at my local church, and gym as a certified personal trainer. Teaching is what I do, no matter the venue I suppose. I currently help my two children with their schoolwork. One is in high school, while the other is a special needs middle school student. One thing I've learned over the years: Successful teachers take time to understand students, and then build bridges to the subject material. I look forward to the opportunity to partner with you on your educational journey.
